Organic Landscaping

Organic landscaping is a system of care and maintenance that uses techniques that work with nature to improve and maintain soil health in an environmentally sound way, without the use of synthetic pesticide and synthetic fertilizer common to conventional landscaping that are known to produce short term gains with many long term consequences. With side effects that can be destructive to both human beings and the environment, many synthetic landscaping chemicals have far reaching effects that range from: increased greenhouse gas emissions, neurological disorders and cancer development in humans, and waterway pollution through runoff and erosion.

With organic care, routine applications of synthetic fertilizers and pesticides are eliminated. In an organic landscaping system, disease and pest control issues are handled in an environmentally friendly manner through practices that produce landscapes resistant to disease and require less watering and mowing.
